When you confirm your purchase, you'll receive temporary documents via email that you can use to show your dealership.
You can also view these online in your account by navigating to the Risks and Policies tab and selecting the policy you'd like to view. From here, you can click on the documents you want to view and download.
-
You'll receive all of your documents via email within 24 hours of online purchase. If you purchased with a broker, they'll typically send your digital documents right away.
You'll receive the hard copy in the mail from your carrier within 5-10 business days.
-
Until your actual pink slip shows up in the mail, you should keep a printout of the pink slip and a copy of the certificate of insurance with you while you drive.
You can easily access these documents in My Account from your effective date onwards. Just click on your policy to view the documents and click Download Pink Slip. From there, just print it out!
-
If you've lost your physical copy, you can let us know by emailing support@onlia.ca to receive another.
Additionally, you can access it online in your account by navigating to Risks and Policies, finding your policy, and clicking Download Pink Slip.
-
An OPCF5 is included in your policy at no extra cost. You can find the OPCF5 endorsement listed in your Certificate of Auto Insurance.

You need a letter of experience (or: a binder letter) if your Onlia policy was cancelled, but your insurance record doesn't show the correct cancellation reason.
If that's the case, you can email your request to support@onlia.ca. Please allow up to 7 business days for a response.
Note that you don't need a letter of experience if your insurance policy with Onlia is still active. Your policy is automatically included on your insurance record.
