Onlia Insurance is a Toronto, Canada-based insurance provider whose policies are underwritten by Verassure Insurance Company. It is a joint venture between Achmea & Fairfax Financial group of insurance companies.

We use smart technology to offer car and home insurance directly online, without the need for brokers, sales agents or paperwork.

At Onlia, our mission is to bring clarity, simplicity, and utility to auto and home insurance. Because Canadians want great coverage without complication — and no matter what turns life takes, to feel supported along the way.

What is Onlia insurance?

Onlia car and home insurance make it easy to protect what’s important. It's all online, meaning you can get a quote and buy insurance in just a few minutes. No brokers, phone calls, or paperwork are required 😊

Do you have partners?

Onlia launched in 2018 and is partnered with Canadian and global insurance and financial leaders with over 200 years of experience between them.

Onlia is licensed to provide insurance through Verrasure Insurance Company, a provincially approved and regulated insurer that underwrites Onlia insurance. You can learn more by visiting the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) list of approved insurance companies in Ontario.
